Jeff Pierce
(Dr. Fish) has been a diehard fly angler and fly tier for more
than 23 years. Growing up in Upstate New York, Jeff averaged 150+
days per year on the water through high school and college. He
honed his angling skills chasing species such as Trout, Salmon,
Steelhead, Bass, Pike and Panfish. In the late 80’s, Jeff got his
first taste of fly-fishing the salt and he was hooked. Since then,
Jeff has spent as much time as possible in the salt, chasing
numerous species |

such as
Redfish, Bonefish, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Billfish to
name a few. For the past five years he has been the Sales Manager
at O. Mustad & Son, the world’s largest hook manufacturer. Among
his many duties, Jeff is responsible of all the fly hooks sold
into North America. He can be seen tying flies at some of the
major fly-fishing shows as well as sharing techniques with anglers
coast to coast. He’s also a writer and an avid shutterbug. |
